Formoso, Goño win 2 medals each at PRADA tkd tourney

AJHS taekwondo jins Nathan Goño (La Storta/7-Claver), Manuel Garcia (Pamplona/9-Southwell), Noah Formoso (La Storta/7-Colombiere) and Alonzo Pasion (Pamplona/7-Pignatelli) each won at least one medal at the Private Schools Athletic Development Association (PRADA) taekwondo championships held last September 15, 2019. Winning two medals each were Goño and Formoso. Goño won a gold medal for poomsae and a bronze medal for sparring, while Formoso won a silver medal for poomsae and a bronze for sparring. Garcia and Pasion each won a silver medal for sparring. The PRADA taekwondo championship was held on Sept. 15, 2019 in Don Bosco Makati.

Last August, Formoso, Goño and Pasion also brought home medals from the Quezon City PTA Palarong Panlungsod. Formoso and Goño teamed up with another jin from Quezon City and won gold in the team poomsae cadet black belt category. Pasion earned a gold medal in the sparring and kyorugi cadet advanced division. The competition was held last August 11, 2019 at Robinsons Novaliches.
