Biography: 

Vivencio Abaño is currently a Senior Partner of the Aguirre Abaño Pamfilo Paras Pineda Agustin Law Offices. He is also a management and legal consultant of a number of corporations. He was a Partner of the Sumulong Sumulong Paras & Abaño Law Offices (1987-1995). Other previous professional commitments include a turn as a college professor in Philosophy at San Beda College (1968-1970) and as a trial attorney in the Office of the Government Corporate Counsel (1985-1987).
 
Vivencio obtained his Bachelor of Arts from San Beda College, magna cum laude, in 1965. He obtained his LLB degree from the Ateneo Law School in 1984, graduating with a silver medal, and placing 5th in that year’s Bar Examinations. He has been teaching in the Ateneo Law School since 1994.
