Biography:
Lily Gruba is the current Associate Dean for Continuing Legal Education of Ateneo Law where she is also the Vice-Chair of the Taxation Law Department. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the Ateneo De Manila University School of Law in 1976 and her Master of Laws from Georgetown Law School in 1981.
Her legal career started when she worked for former Supreme Court Chief Justice Andres R. Narvasa in 1979. She has also served as General Counsel for one of the biggest government financial institutions and as Undersecretary for the Department of Finance from 1998 to the 2000. At present, she is Managing Partner and a full-time law practitioner at Zambrano & Gruba Law Offices.
Lily served as Bar Examiner for Taxation in 2007, and for Commercial Law in 2012.
