Fr. Jaime C. Bulatao SJ Center for Psychology Services

We are a center of the Department of Psychology of the Ateneo de Manila University. We offer services in the various fields and applications of psychology to address the psychosocial needs of individuals and communities.

Clinical/Community Services

We offer psychological evaluation/assessment and interventions services for children, adolescents, and adults. These address the mental health and psychological well-being needs of individuals, couples, families, and communities.

Psychological evaluation/assessment employs interviews, group discussions, observations, and standardized scales. Psychological interventions include, but are not limited, to the following: psychological counseling, play therapy, psychotherapy, psychosocial debriefing, skills training, support groups, and program development and implementation.

Training

We provide training seminars and workshops to respond to the psychosocial needs and concerns of specific individuals, groups, and communities.

We conduct psycho-educational workshops and customized training for parents, teachers, students, government agencies, and nongovernment organizations. We offer Continuing Professional Education (CPE) workshops for psychologists and other allied professionals, including guidance counselors, social workers, and other direct service providers.

Research

We conduct basic and applied research for schools, government and non-government organizations, and other institutions.

We study child, youth, and family development; social issues; psychological adjustment and well-being.

Our research can influence policies and intervention programs.
