Ateneo HS' Team A is champion of PAYA Ultimate Cup 2012!

Ateneo de Manila High School's Team A won the 2012 PAYA Ultimate Invitational Cup held on October 28 at the AHS Football Fields. The Blue Eaglets beat the Xavier Stallions, 9-7, in the exciting finals. Philippine Science High School placed third.

Mat Crespo of 4-L was named one of the tournament's Mythical Seven, while Juami Soriano of 4-I was named Finals MVP.

En route to winning the title, AHS Team A beat Xavier in the prelims, and Marist in the semi-finals.

The members of AHS Ultimate Team A are: JP Nitura(4-I), Juami Soriano(4-I), Matheu Tan(4-I), Maqui Castelo(4-I), Mat Crespo(4-L), Lance Bogarin(4-C), Gio Ilagan(4-C), Gab Tolarbas(4-C), Jomuel Querido(4-A), Paolo Magsino(4-L), Marco Manongsong(4-K), Vincent Rivera(3-I) Derrick Aznar(2-I), and Cholo Tolentino(2-F).

They are moderated by Enzo Flojo of the AHS English Subject Area and Migs Crisostomo of the AHS Math Subject Area.
