Marcen Gonzales is Olivarez 16 U Tennis Champ!
Ateneo de Manila High School sophomore Marcen Angelo Gonzales of 2C won the title in the 3rd Olivarez Cup Open Tennis Championship, 16 under boys division. The tournament was held last Sunday, March 17 at the Olivarez Sports Center in Sucat, Parañaque.
Last August 25, Marcen won two titles in one lawn tennis championship. At the 25th Milo Junior Tennis Cup and regional workshop, Marcen won first place in both the 16 under boys and 18 under boys divisions.
Marcen is a member of the triumphant AHS Lawn Tennis Team, which won all three of the prestigious inter high school tennis tournaments this year, namely PAYA, PRADA, and ISTA (Inter School Tennis Association) Division 1.
