Bruce & Catbagan are champions of Math Teachers Olympics

Ateneo de Manila High School math teachers Ryan Bruce & Kebong Catbagan emerged as champions of this year’s Casio-MTAP (Math Teachers Association of the Philippines) Math Teachers Olympics. The competition was held on December 5 at National Bookstore’s Super Branch in Cubao. As champions, Bruce & Catbagan were awarded medals, a trophy, and P10,000. 

Fourteen teams from various private schools in the NCR participated in this year's competition. Among those bested by Catbagan & Bruce were the team from Philippine Science High School (in 2nd place), and the team from defending champion School of Saint Anthony (3rd place).
