Enrollment for AHS Chinese Elective Class ongoing until Sept. 18

Enrollment is ongoing until September 18, 2013 for Ateneo de Manila High School students who would like to take the AHS Chinese Elective Class. Organized by the Confucius Institute at the Ateneo de Manila University, the class will run from September 23, 2013 to February 21, 2014. The class is designed to teach students how to speak Mandarin and understand Chinese culture. The fee is P5000 for 46 course hours, and includes books and learning materials.
 
Enrollees will choose one from among three schedules:
 
 a. MON-TUE-THU: 4:00 to 5:00pm
 b. THU: 4:00 to 5:00 pm, FRI: 1:30pm to 430pm
 c. SAT: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
 
At the end of the program, the top 20 students will be invited to join the 2014 Ateneo Confucius Institute Summer Camp in Beijing and Guangzhou. The camp includes a 4-day Beijing tour and a 10-day language and culture camp. The tour fee, hotel accommodations, course fees, the Beijing-Guangzhou domestic flight and most meals are FREE for camp participants. Roundtrip international airfare, airport fees, visa fee and personal travel insurance will be shouldered by the invited participants.

As such, he was invited to join the 2013 Ateneo Confucius Institute Summer Camp in Beijing and Guangzhou last summer for free.
