Five from AHS A2015 are among UP Oblation scholars

Last March 14, University of the Philippines President Alfredo E. Pascual held a reception for the Oblation Scholars-the Top 50 UPCAT Passers- at the Executive House of the UP Diliman Campus. Five of our boys from A2015 were feted at the luncheon:  Gian Franco V. Bermudez, Joshua Raphael N. Ambrosio, Marvin David D. De Santos, Rafael G. Baybay, and Adrian P. Del Mundo.

The benefits of being an Oblation Scholar, as stated in the UP website, “…include free tuition, miscellaneous and laboratory fees, a semestral book subsidy and a monthly incentive and transportation allowance.” 
Incidentally, Messrs. Del Mundo and Bermudez (valedictorian and salutatorian of the AHS Class of 2015, respectively) are Ateneo Merit Scholars based on the results of the Ateneo College Entrance Test (ACET) while Messrs. Ambrosio, Baybay and De Santos are Director's List Scholars in the ACET as well.
