Sam Zabat of 9G is 1st Best Speaker of IDeA Lite 2014-15

Beating more than a hundred students from more than 10 high schools in Metro Manila, Ateneo de Manila Grade 9 student Sam Zabat of 9G was named 1^st Best Speaker of the Interscholastic Debaters’ Association’s Lite (IDeA Lite) Invitational Tournament for SY 2014-2015. According to Henry Fernando, coach of the AHS Debaters, Zabat’s win marks the third consecutive time that IDeA Lite’s 1^st Best Speaker honor has been won by an AHS student.
 
Sam received his award last July 27 at the CAC Hall of La Salle Green Hills in Mandaluyong City. IDeA Lite 2014-2015 was organized by the La Salle Debate Team.
