Ateneo HS is first runnerup in UAAP 76 Track & Field championship!

Ateneo de Manila High School placed second overall in the junior boys division of the UAAP Season 76 Track and Field Championship held from December 5 to 8, 2013, at the DLSU campus in Dasmariñas, Cavite. University of the East (UE) was the winner in the junior boys division.
 
Of note is the fact that in the pole vault and hammer throw events, the top three slots were all won by AHS athletes.

The other members of the team who competed and contributed points to the AHS’ first runnerup finish are Jr Pineda (4E), Enrique Gomez (4K), Vince Tumala (3I), Gelo Capinpin (2F), and Abi Sandalo (2I).
 
The AHS Track and Field team is coached by Enrico Quodala and Jok Cobar. Jerro Perater is the throwers' coach, while Emerson Obiena and his team coached the AHS pole vaulters.
