Ateneo HS is PAYA Table Tennis champion!

From left- Mario Quimbo (1E), Jigo Sison (3J), Gelo Lopez (3D), and Eedjic Roque (2H) bagged the PAYA Table Tennis title after a three-year dry spell. Quimbo was also named MVP of the tournament.After a three-year dry spell, the Ateneo de Manila High School's blue paddlers once again bagged the PAYA Table Tennis championship! The tournament was held on the Xavier campus in San Juan last February 8, 2014. Playing for Ateneo were Gelo Lopez (3D), Eedjik Roque (2G), Jigo Sison (3J), and Mario Quimbo (1E). The youngest member of the AHS team, Quimbo was also named the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP). 

Sison and Quimbo played the singles matches, while Lopez and Roque played doubles.

In the end, Xavier was awarded second place, while La Salle Greenhills took third place.

AHS freshman Mario Quimbo (1E) was named MVP of the 2014 PAYA Table Tennis tournament.
