Ateneo HS swimmers are 9-PEAT champs of UAAP Season 76!

The Ateneo de Manila High School Swim team successfully defended its title at the UAAP Season 76 Swimming Championship. The competition was held from Sept 19-22 at the Trace Aquatic Sports Complex in Los Baños, Laguna. The Ateneo HS junior tankers won their ninth consecutive title, an unprecedented achievement in the junior boys division of UAAP swimming. In addition to winning a historic nine-peat, two AHS swimmers also claimed the top individual awards in the division: Rookie of the Year was awarded to AHS freshman Joshua Taleon of 1-M, while Most Valuable Player was awarded to AHS senior Getty Reyes (4H) for the second consecutive year.

At the end of the competition, JOSHUA TALEON (1M) was named ROOKIE OF THE YEAR in the junior boys division, while GETTY REYES (4H) was named MOST VALUABLE PLAYER in the junior boys division for the second consecutive year. Ateneo de Manila University was declared champion of the UAAP Season 76 Swimming Championship junior boys division for the ninth consecutive year.
