Bong Gonzales wins 16U and 18U titles in Angeles City National Tennis Championship!

Last Saturday, May 9, an incoming Ateneo de Manila Grade 11 student  won two tennis titles in one day: Cenon "Bong" Gonzales Jr. of K2017 won both the 16U AND 18U boys titles of the Angeles City Tennis Club National Age Group Tennis Championship on the same afternoon.

The twin wins in Angeles City are the second and third titles Bong has won todate this summer. Last April 26, he won the 18U boys title in the 14th Annual Summer Tennis Festival. From June 2014 through March 2015, he won five national tennis championships and was one of only 20 students to receive the distinguished individual achievement award at the Ateneo High School’s annual Recognition Day Ceremony.
