Bong Gonzales wins 6th tennis title since April 2015

Last October 27, Ateneo de Manila High School junior Cenon “Bong” Gonzales Jr. of 11K won the 18 and under boys championship of the Cebuana Lhuillier-Dunlop Sport age group tennis tournament held in Angeles City, Pampanga. The title is the sixth one he has won since April. Last June 2, Gonzales  bagged the 16U boys championship in the 17th Head Graphene XT Junior Tennis Satellite Circuit held in Baguio City. Last May 30, he won the 18U boys title of the 8th First Gen Juntaphil Metro Age Group Tennis Championship held in the Alabang Country Club. On May 9, he won two titles in one day: the 16U AND the 18U boys titles of the Angeles City Tennis Club National Age Group Championship. Last April 26, he won the 18U boys title in the 14th Annual Summer Tennis Festival.
 
Last school year, from June 2014 through March 2015, Gonzales won five national tennis championships and was one of only 20 students to receive the distinguished individual achievement award at the Ateneo High School’s annual Recognition Day Ceremony.
