Cenon Gonzales of 1-D is singles champion of 2013 PCA Open tennis tourney

Ateneo de Manila High School freshman Cenon "Bong" Gonzales Jr. won two titles in the PCA (Philippine Columbian Association) Open tennis tournament held on Sunday, November 17. He is singles champion of the 14 and under boys' division, and doubles champion (with fellow Atenean Manuel "Mik" Balce III of Ateneo Junior High School's 8-Berchmans class) also for the 14 & under boys' division.

The PCA Open singles and doubles titles are the 11th and 12th lawn tennis championships which Gonzales has won todate this year.  Gonzales is a member of the AHS lawn tennis team, which won the PAYA tennis championship for the third straight year last October 5.

Bong and the rest of the AHS Lawn Tennis Team is coached by Gee Abacan.
