Crisostomo of section 10-I finished as the top ice hockey scorer in the recently concluded Scotiabank Ice Dragon Classic. The international youth ice hockey tournament was held from March 9 to 12, 2016 in Singapore.
With a PPGA of 2.20, Crisostomo topped the list of leading scorers for the Bantams division with 11 points. The far-second scorer registered only 7 points. Crisostomo dominated two games – one against Singapore Ice Dragons and one against Perth Thunder – with 4 points per game. This resulted in a 5-0 and 4-1 victory, respectively, of the Philippine Islanders Bantam Team. In the finals, Crisostomo scored two goals under one minute leading to the team’s victory against Malaysia.

Crisostomo also serves as Team Captain of the Philippine Islanders Bantam Team (U16) which also bagged the championship for the Silver Cup. After winning four of five games played, the Philippine team outplayed Malaysia in the final round. Overall, Crisostomo’s team bested 22 teams coming from all over Asia and the Pacific.

Previously, Crisostomo was also part of the team which won the championship in the HKAHC Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament held in Hong Kong last September 2015.
In line with the introduction of ice hockey to the 2017 SEA Games, these victories contribute to the promotion of the sport among the growing number of youth hockey enthusiasts in the Philippines.
