Gonzales brothers rule Philta tennis tournament!

Ateneo de Manila High School students (and brothers) Marcen Gonzales (12C) and Cenon "Bong" Gonzales Jr. (10K) won the 18U and 16U boys titles, respectively, of the 5th PSC-Philta Age Group Tennis Championship on December 23, 2014. The tournament was held at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center. As Marc Anthony Reyes wrote in the December 24 issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, "...17-year-old Marcen bested Chris Justin Prulla, 6-3, 6-2, to claim the premier boys 18-under championship while 15-year-old Cenon routed Justin Suarez, 6-3, 6-1, to annex the 16-under crown."   

The Philta title is one of eight lawn tennis titles that Marcen won from April 2014- December 31, 2014. It is younger brother Bong's fourth title from June 2014 to December 31, 2014.
