Mik Balce wins Henry Lee Memorial Age Group Tennis Title

Incoming Ateneo de Manila grade 10 student Manuel “MIK” Balce III recently won the 16U boys title of the Henry Lee Memorial Age Group tennis championship. Mik beat the no.6 seeded player in the quarters, the no.1 seeded player in the semis, and the number 2 seeded player in the finals! The tournament was held at the Manila Polo Club from March 26 - 31, 2015.

Last February 16, Mik was one of only 20 AHS students who was given the distinguished individual achievement award at the AHS' annual Recognition Day ceremony.

The Henry Lee title is the seventh national title he has won todate since June 2014.
