The Lopez Digital Media Series aims to spread thought-provoking and inspiring ideas that encompass a broad range of interests and disciplines from the sciences and innovation, design and technology, arts and culture to the humanities and philosophy.
The series involves the student-led production of taped-as-live Studio Talks and Performances, as well as Motion Graphic Shorts and other short forms videos. You can view their latest work on our web channel.
The creative team behind the series is the Multimedia Information Resource Laboratory (MIR-Lab), an undergraduate student team comprised of talented individuals from various year levels interested in pursuing careers in multimedia production, animation, graphic design, production design and photography.
Seasoned industry professionals and faculty members of the Department of Communication mentor MIR-Lab students as supervising producers of the series, providing content and editorial guidelines as well as the technical training required to produce the series.
