Ateneo HS is PAYA Badminton champion!

The Ateneo de Manila High School emerged as champion of the PAYA (Philippine Athletic Youth Association) Badminton Tournament held last Saturday, January 19, at the Moro Lorenzo Sports Center. Among the schools which team Ateneo beat were Xavier, De La Salle Zobel, and Lourdes School of Quezon City. The finals game saw Ateneo facing La Salle Greenhills, which was going for a three-peat title win.

Playing for the AHS Badminton Team were Bryan Garrido (4-J), Clarence Filart (4-D), Chino Olaguer (4-F), Beej Gayo (4-A), Sam Nuyles (3-K), and Sito Fernandez (1-B).

They are coached by Alma Ledesma and Kennie Asuncion-Robles.
