Joel Alejandro wins silver medal in 2013 ATF Taekwondo championship in Myanmar

Incoming Ateneo de Manila High School senior Joel Felipe Alejandro of 4C 2014 won a silver medal at the 11th ATF Taekwondo Championships held last May 23 in Myanmar. Hundreds of jins from Asia competed in the tournament, which ran from May 11-24.

Joel is one of the Ateneo HIgh School's most accomplished taekwondo jins. At the end of schoolyear 2012-2013, he was given the St. Jean de Brebeuf award for Most Outstanding Athlete in Taekwondo at the annual AHS Recognition Day ceremony. Joel is coached by Jec Panotes.
