Intensive English Language Program [IELP]

     This is an intensive General English program designed primarily to improve proficiency in English so the language can be used confidently, effectively, and efficiently in various situations. Participants go through a range of activities and exercises to equip them with language learning principles as well as communicative strategies to build their self-confidence through a knowledge of correct and appropriate English.
 
    The students are grouped according to their proficiency level: Basic English to Low Intermediate, Intermediate, and High Intermediate to Advanced.
 
        IELP is a year-round program with eight modules in the year. Each module has a 5-week duration of 120-classroom hours equivalent to more than 2 semesters of the regular college English course. The 1st cycle of four modules is from January to June, and the 2nd cycle is from July to December. Modules can be taken independently or as part of a progressive cycle.

Academic English Program [AEP]

     This is a specially-designed support program for users of English in need of advanced skills in the English language so that they can function effectively in academic settings. Its target learners are those preparing for or pursuing graduate studies. This is a special-package program where the program hours, syllabi content, and class composition are determined by the agreement between ALLC and the client institution.

English in the Professions Program [EPP]

     This is a human resource development support through short-term packages tailored to the expressed requirements of participants, groups or organizations in the professions. The modules that are most required are Business English, Oral Presentations, Technical Writing, and English for Frontliners. This is a special-package program where the program hours, syllabi content, and class composition are determined by the agreement between ALLC and the client institution.
