Biography: 

Martin Villanueva is the author of the poetry collection 'Account' and the essay collection 'A Pig Was Once Killed in Our Garage', is a co-editor (with Joshua Ip) of '11 X 9: Collaborative Poetry from the Philippines and Singapore', and is the associate editor for the literary section of Kritika Kultura. An Assistant Professor with Department of Fine Arts, he most recently served as Department Chair for two terms and currently continues to coordinate and teach courses for the BFA Creative Writing program. For the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, he teaches courses on creativity and is a thesis mentor for IS and Humanities majors.
