The Beijing Center

Founded by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities, the Beijing Center for Chinese Studies specializes in Chinese Studies, and has an excellent study-abroad program conducted in both English and Mandarin, tailor-made for overseas students interested in learning about China. The program includes Mandarin lessons and classes on various areas within the field of Chinese studies including Chinese fine arts (architecture and film), Chinese business, Chinese philosophy, Chinese history, Chinese literature (offered both in Mandarin and in English), Chinese martial arts, and others. 

The program fee includes accommodation, some special banquet dinners, Mandarin language lessons, and the excursion. Participants must be in good health. Prior knowledge of Mandarin is not required.
