Nanzan University

Nanzan University is a private Catholic university in Nagoya, Japan.  Students interested in Japanese Studies may participate in the program for international students organized by the Center for Japanese Studies. Their program includes intensive Japanese language classes (no prior knowledge of Japanese is necessary), and lessons--conducted in English--about Japan, Japanese art, and Japanese culture.  Field trips are also included in the program.

Students who already have a very high level of proficiency in Nihongo may enroll as a regular exchange student and take regular undergraduate classes with local students. These classes are conducted in Nihongo.  Classes are available in psychology, business, and philosophy.
  
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative QPI of 3.0 to apply.
