A course on drawing up and using bibliographies and textual criticisms in viewing the philosopher from within his/her cultural context and actual historical problems. This graduate research course in Daoist Philosophy examines the Philosophy of Dao-De, through a historical survey of the development of Daoist Philosophy, and a discussion of the key principles of dao-de. It likewise explores two major texts – Daodejing and Zhuangzi.
