CHED names SOSE's Electronics Engineering Program as Center of Development

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) designated the Ateneo de Manila University's Electronics Engineering Program as a Center of Development (COD), making it the 6th program in the Loyola Schools to be given the title.
 
Electronics Engineering is under the Department of Electronics, Computer and Communications Engineering (ECCE) headed by Dr. Rosula S. J. Reyes.
 
It follows Environmental Science, which is 1st program in the School of Science and Engineering (SOSE) listed under the COD designation.
 
SOSE also has 5 Centers of Excellence (COE) namely, Biology, Chemistry, Information Technology, Mathematics and Physics.
 
The Ateneo’s list of COE includes Literature (Department of English), Philosophy, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Psychology and Sociology while the other programs listed under the COD are Literature (Kagarawan ng Filipino), Communication, History and Political Science.
