Team Fresent garnered third place in Hackzilla Manila 2, a contest held in continuous support of young Filipino talent and positive change with the use of technology. Team Fresent's submission was an automatic classroom attendance checking application that recognizes student faces from a photograph taken by a teacher using a smart phone. The application then records who are present and who are not.

The members of the team were Aemielvin Loremia, Zachary Ivan Martinez, Andre Tan and Jose Enrico Tiongson, all Computer Science seniors.

They competed against teams from UP Diliman, UP Los Banos, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, and STI College.
