Master of Arts in Psychology, concentration in Industrial-Organizational Psychology

The program provides students with theoretical and research foundations on human behavior in the work setting. It develops relevant abilities needed to practice as a competent and socially responsible human resource professional. Students acquire scientific knowledge on human processes and dynamics at the individual, group, and organizational levels. They develop skills in organizational diagnosis, assessment, interventions planning, as well as implementation and evaluation of human resource management technologies for application in various settings. In addition, students learn the humanistic value orientation of attaining organizational effectiveness through improved quality of work life for employees.
Graduates of the program are prepared to respond to issues and problems involving people at work by serving as consultants and change agents for business, industry, labor, public, academic, religious, community, and health organizations.
