Basic Japanese language courses for Ateneo and non-Ateneo learners
12 September to 21 November 2020 (Revised schedule)

Mode of teaching:
1-hour synchronous (live) class every Saturday
20-hour asynchronous (online exercises)

Nihongo for Everyone 1: Coverage Genki Chapters 1 - 5
Nihongo for Everyone is a course for beginners. It focuses on basic communication skills, particularly through speaking and listening. The course also introduces a basic knowledge of Japanese characters for everyday use in Japan.

Schedules:  Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm       
                     Time: 1:00 - 4:00pm                
Nihongo for Everyone 2: Coverage Genki Chapters 6 - 10
A course for those who finished Nihongo for Everyone 1: Basic Japanese Language 1, or 30 hours of classroom instruction. It introduces additional basic expressions, sentence patterns, and useful vocabulary needed to conduct daily communication with Japanese people.

Schedule:   Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm
      Time: 1:00 - 4:00pm                
Nihongo for Everyone 3: Coverage Genki Chapters 11 - 15
A course for those who finished Nihongo for Everyone II or 60 hours of classroom instruction; students who finish the course are expected to reach the  proficiency equivalent of the N5 level of the new Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
Schedule:   Time: 8:00 - 11:00am

Registration details:
The course guarantees a total of 30 learning hours including 10 hours of live classes scheduled every Saturday.
You may register here thru this Google form or by filling out a Word/.pdf file.
Hard copies of textbooks and workbooks will be available at our designated printer in Sauyo, Quezon City. Pick up is at the expense of the student. 
Hard copies and soft copies of completion certificates will be provided.   
Registration Fee: P4,000
Mode of payment: Online thru BPI, or Over the Counter (OTC) thru BPI or Metrobank  

To Register: 
2. SETTLE THE REGISTRATION FEE through the designated payment facilities 3 days before the module starts.
3. SEND A COPY of your proof of payment to JSP’s email: 
4. EXPECT A CONFIRMATION EMAIL with other details of the class within 2 working days. Follow up with JSP if your email is not acknowledged.

  Procedure for online payment:
- Log in to your BPI account
- Go to <Payments/Load>
- On Pay Bills tab, fill out necessary information including Reference Number: 188078005, then Select Biller <AMISCU> - For Ateneo non-tuition payments (Miscellaneous payments)
- Enter on the Notes bar <NE Registration Fee for (name of enrollee)>
- Confirm that the details you entered are correct (you should see 188078005 AMISCU)
- Get one-time pin and enter once prompted
- Receive the "Transaction Successful" message   
- SEND A COPY of your proof of payment to JSP’s email: 
If account enrollment is needed, you may have to follow this procedure:
1.  Account holder must enroll  ‘AMISCU’ as biller on their online Account through the branch.  (They may coordinate this with their Branch of Account)
2. Once enrolled, only then can Account Holder transact via Internet banking.
