Ateneo students bag 2nd place at Brandstorm finals

A team of Communication majors from the Ateneo de Manila University bagged the second place in the recently-held L’Oreal Brandstorm 2015 last March 26. 

“TEAM THGH,” composed of communication senior Emmanuel Hilao and communication juniors Vida Alegre and Thurees Obenza, won the second top spot for their “Travel beautiful” campaign which aimed to bring Lancôme to women who suffer from travel distress to “make her feel beautiful and at ease as she travels.”
The team’s proposal also featured an integration of a virtual attendant to the consumers’ travel experience, wherein it will advise the consumer on the apt product to use at her destination and how to apply it. 
Another Atenean Sam Sebastian of Team Wayferers was also recognized as the Best Speaker.
Team Stormsurge from the University Philippines Diliman took home the national championship for will represent the country in the international finals to be held in Paris, France.  
Brandstorm is an international marketing competition hosted by French cosmetics and beauty company L’Oreal Group.
