CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Director of the Institute of Philippine Culture (IPC) School of Social Sciences, Ateneo de Manila University

Nominations are invited for the position of Director of the Institute of Philippine Culture (IPC), School of Social Sciences, Ateneo de Manila University, to succeed Dr Czarina Saloma-Akpedonu, who will end her term on 31 March 2013 after serving as the Institute’s Director since 2007.

A nominee should possess:

1.  A PhD degree from a reputable institution

2.  Solid experience in research

3.  A track record in publications

4.  An appreciation of the range of disciplines in the Social Sciences

5.  Administrative experience

6.  Ability to tap external funding sources

A nominee can be a current or potential faculty member of the School of Social Sciences, with demonstrable intellectual and managerial leadership and the ability to deepen the Institute’s integration with the School of Social Sciences.

Nominations, accompanied by the nominee's curriculum vitae, should be sent to the Chair of the IPC Director Search Committee via email to soc-sci@admu.edu.ph and adepano@ateneo.edu.

Nominations should be received by 17 December 2012.
