Dr. Veneracion-Rallonza goes to University of Queensland as Australia Awards Fellow

Dr. Ma. Lourdes Veneracion-Rallonza, a faculty of the Department of Political Science, was recently awarded the Australia Awards Fellowship at the Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect (AP R2P) at University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. As a fellow at the AP R2P, she will work on her post-doctoral research which seeks to develop policy frameworks and interventions to strengthen ASEAN mechanisms for the protection of women. During her stay in Brisbane, she will also participate in the International Feminist Politics Journal Conference. 

Dr. Veneracion-Rallonza, apart from being an academic and scholar in Ateneo, also serves as a consultant to the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process. She is also active in the implementation of the Philippine National Action Plan on WPS.
