Dr. Veneracion-Rallonza Presents Paper at the Responsibility to Protect (RtoP) at 10 International Conference
Last 27 February 2015, Dr. Lourdes Veneracion-Rallonza presented on "Mapping Collaborative Initiatives on Women, Peace and Security in the Philippines and Exploring Institutional Entry Points for Women's Protection in Armed Conflict in the ASEAN" during the Responsibility to Protect (RtoP) at 10 international conference held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Aside from Dr. Veneracion-Rallonza, panel on Strengthening Women's Rights: The Prevention of Sexual Violence in Armed Conflict and Humanitarian Emergencies was composed of Ms. Devanna dela Fuente, UN Regional Gender-Based Violence Humanitarian Advisor; Ms. Mudjiati, Deputy Minister for Women's Protection, Republic of Indonesia; and Theresa de Langis, WPS Research Consultant, UN Women. Julio Amador III, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Service Institute and Lecturer at the Political Science Department chaired the panel.
