Montiel and Veneracion-Rallonza Present Papers at 2013 APPRA Conference in Bangkok

Dr. Cristina Montiel of the Department of Psychology and Dr. Lourdes Veneracion-Rallonza of the Department of Political Science participated in the recently held Asia-Pacific Peace Research Association (APPRA) Conference held in Bangkok, Thailand last 12-14 November 2013.
Dr. Montiel presented her research entitled "A Political Psychology on Nonviolent Democratic Transitions in Asia" while Dr. Veneracion-Rallonza shared her study on "Mothers and Daughters: Conflict Memories and Peace Agency - Unraveling the Narrative of Kalingan Women in the Context of Tribal/Armed Conflicts and Peacebuilding." The 2013 APPRA Conference was co-sponsored by Thammasat University and supported by the Thailand Research Fund.
