New PoS Department Strategic Plan (2014-2017): Sustain Departmental Gains, Increase Research Output and Strengthen Internationalization
The Department of Political Science finalized the Strategic Plan for 2014-2017 during its annual department planning last 23-24 May 2014 at Timberland Sports and Nature Club in San Mateo, Rizal.

The new strategic plan included the following points: extant program offerings, administrative adjustments and academic/scholarly development.
In response to the upcoming changes brought by K-12, the Department commits to offer the best quality of education in the study of politics by exploring more opportunities and possibilities of interdisciplinary collaboration (especially in academics and scholarly research) with various fields of study in the School of Social Sciences and the rest of the Loyola Schools. The Department also laid out plans for expanding its ties with other institutions for the internship/service learning of PoS and Dip IR majors.
The Strategic Planning sessions were led by Dr. Maria Elissa Jayme Lao (chair) and Dr. Anne Lan Candelaria (vice chair). In these sessions, Department appointed the following program coordinators to provide additional institutional support for its students:
