PoS faculty participate in the International Conference on the Philippines under Marcos

QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES - PoS faculty participated in the international conference--The Remains of a Dictatorship: International Conference on the Philippines under Marcos, held last 3-4 August 2017 at the Novotel Hotel, Araneta Center, Quezon City. Dr. Benjamin Tolosa, Mr. Gino Trinidad and Mr. Arjan Aguirre of the Department of Political Science, presented papers through the panel on Ateneo de Manila and the Challenge of Democratization (1982-1992). They were joined in the panel by Dr. Randy Tuano and Mr. Jerick Cruz of the Ateneo Department of Economics, and Ms. Margarita Ana Lopa-Perez, an Ateneo alumna and formerly an Ateneo social development professional in the late 1980s.

The conference was hosted/organized by the Philippine Studies: Historical and Ethnographic Viewpoints and the Office of the Dean of the School of Social Sciences of the Ateneo de Manila University.
