Ateneans top board exams for psychologists and psychometricians

Ateneo de Manila Department of Psychology faculty member Katrine “Kay” S. Bunagan topped the first ever licensure examination for psychologists in the Philippines. Ateneo Psychology graduates Ma. Tonirose “Toni” de Guzman Mactal and Michael A. Macaraig placed second and third, respectively. Macaraig shared the third spot with UP-Diliman graduate Jaymee Q. Leonen.
 
In addition, examinees from the Ateneo de Manila University had a 100 percent passing rate.
 
Ateneans also did well in the licensure exams for psychometricians, with 23 passers. Angelique P. Villasanta placed third, and Victoria M. Espino shared the fourth place with four other examinees.
 
Both the psychologists’ and psychometricians’ licensure exams were held in October 2014.
