CORD Certificate Program in University of Indonesia

February 20, 2013

The Ateneo Center for Organization Research and Development (CORD), in partnership with the University of Indonesia (UI) recently held a workshop on the Fundamentals of Organizational Development (OD) at their Depok Campus in Indonesia.

The program held last 11 to 15 February 2013 was attended by UI faculty members and local OD practitioners from various private organizations. It was facilitated by Dr Edna P Franco and Dr Regina M Hechanova who are both full-time faculty members of the Psychology Department, School of Social Sciences. They were joined by Ms Amanda P Angeles, program officer for OD at the Ateneo CORD.

The workshop aimed to help participants understand the nature of organizations as developing systems, as well as hone their skills in diagnosis and identifying interventions. The Certificate Course in the Fundamentals of OD is a regular training program offered by the Ateneo CORD to interested HR and OD practitioners. Participants who complete the course may have it partially credited to its equivalent graduate course under the Psychology Department’s Masters Degree in Industrial-Organization Psychology.

Ateneo CORD is a research and training arm of the Department of Psychology, School of Social Sciences, Ateneo de Manila University.
