Abletis, John
John obtained his MA in Sociology from the University of the Philippines – Diliman in 2019 and his BS in Sociology from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Sta. Mesa in 2009. He has been interested in how schools reproduce or challenge social inequality through their tracking (“sectioning”) practices and other related processes and policies; he is also interested in the wider role of schools in communities and how educational processes are shaped by other social institutions.
