Philippine Sociological Review (Vol. 60) wins Outstanding Book Award for 2013

The National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) has chosen the journal “Philippine Sociological Review (Volume 60: Special Issue, Sociology of Deviance)” as the recipient of the Outstanding Book Award for 2013.
Congratulations to the associate issue editor, Dr. Andrea Soco-Roda, a faculty member of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology (DSA).
Congratulations also to the following faculty who contributed to the award-winning volume:
- Leslie Advincula-Lopez, PhD cand.: Human Rights in the Eyes of the Filipino Soldier
- Mary Racelis, PhD: Technology and Morality in Women’s Lives – and Deaths: The Reproductive Health
- Fr. John J. Carroll, PhD: Rocks Beneath the Surface: Changing Relations Between the Church and Politics in the Light of Vatican II
