AHS Blue Babble Band is 2nd runnerup in first ever Nat'l Drumline Championship

The Ateneo High School Blue Babble Band placed third in the first ever National Drumline Championship held last March 10, 2017 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Composed of boys and girls from the Ateneo Junior High School and the Ateneo Senior High School, the Ateneo HS band was the only high school band in the top three, behind champion University of Santo Tomas (UST) and first runnerup National University (NU). Nine bands from various schools in Luzon competed in the tournament.

The members of the AHS Blue Babble Band are Kenji Pardilla (Pamplona/9-Mangin), Marcus Garcia (La Storta/9-Lewis), Adam Martinez (La Storta/10-Pongracz), Carlo Ulangkaya (11-Mayer/HUMSS), Bryan Ferrer (11-Pignatelli/STEM), Trina Ilot (11-Regis/STEM) LA Vergara (11-Azevedo/ABM), Andre Yamsuan (11-Bellarmine/ABM),  Patricia Almira (11-Canisius/GA), Ben Libatique (11-Canisius/GA), Jude Sabio (11-Canisius/GA), Xavier Salita (11-Chabanel/GA), Chelle Jimenez 11-Favre/GA), Santi Ubaldo (11-Favre/GA), Dei Demetria (12-H Kasui), Hobie Laviña (12-H Kasui), Neil Orencia (12-I Arrowsmith), Pio Cruz (12-K Geronimo), Franco Flavier (12-K Geronimo), Pancho Santos (12-K Geronimo), Pocholo Ilao (12-M Briant), and Thirdy Venturina (12-M Briant).
