ASHS student wins 1st runner-up in ASEAN poster competition

Representing the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila Senior High School student Nikki Mendoza of 12-Oldcorne emerged as the 1st runner-up winner of the ASEAN Energy Youth Awards (AEYA) 2021 Infographic Poster Competition. Her entry highlighted her group’s original study in the Practical Research course, which focused on the measurement of carbon footprint brought about by the current online learning setup.

Held online on September 15, AEYA 2021 was jointly organized by the ASEAN Centre for Energy, the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, and Korea Energy Agency.
