Ateneo SHS is IDeA 3 debate champion

IDeA 3 champions Bea Legaspi & Marc MarquezRecent Ateneo de Manila Senior High School graduate Bea Legaspi & incoming grade 12 student Marc Marquez emerged as champions of the Interscholastic Debate Association (IDeA) 3 tournament last April 13, 2019. Legaspi was also named Finals Best Speaker while Carlo Pastor was named Overall Best Speaker. Recent ASHS graduates David Africa & CJ Carlos tied for 3rd Best Speaker while Javy Pineda (also a recent graduate) and Bea Legaspi tied for 6th Best Speaker. IDeA 3 2019 was held in De La Salle University from April 12 to 13, 2019. 

Carlo Pastor (left) was named Overall Best Speaker while Javy Pineda (right) was named 6th Best Speaker of IDeA 3.
