Brevin Que is ranked #1 in PH and #3 globally by HK Olympiad

Six Ateneo Senior High School (ASHS) mathletes performed very well during the heat round of the 2019 Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO). Leading the pack was Brevin Que of 11-Owen, who won a gold medal and was named 2nd runner up thanks to his  #1 Philippine ranking and #3 global ranking. Also winning gold medals were Brian Dela Cruz of 11-Nakaura, Marion de Leon of 11-San Vitores, and Neil Que of 12-Ogilvie. Winning a silver medal was Nikki Chan of 11-Perez, while Justin Lim of 11-Nakaura won a bronze medal. As heat round medalists, these ASHS mathletes have been invited to compete in the HKIMO International Round to be held in Hong Kong from August 30 - September 2, 2019. The awarding ceremony for HKIMO’s Luzon contestants was held on Saturday, July 13 at the UPFI Film Center.
