Deanne Algenio is Top Female Contestant of PMO qualifying round

As a fitting start to the month highlighting women power, two Ateneo de Manila Senior High School female mathletes have made it as national finalists for the 23rd Philippine Mathematical Olympiad (PMO). All in all, five of our mathletes have made it as national finalists for this year’s PMO: Deanne Algenio (11-Borja), Jimbo Bernardo (11-San Vitores), Vanessa Julio (11-Tsuji), Keean Tang (11-Torres), and Troy Tabujara (12-Pantalia). In addition, Deanne was also named Top Female Contestant from the PMO’s qualifying stage. 

The PMO national finals will be held on March 19-20, 2021.
