Dela Merced and Cortes win medals for PH at IMWiC

Two Ateneo de Manila Senior High School students- Stephanie dela Merced of STEM/11-San Vitores and Christian Cortes of STEM/11-Realino- took  home medals after representing the Philippines at the 2017 International Mathematics Wizard Challenge (IMWiC) held in Xiamen, China from May 19-23, 2017.  Dela Merced won a bronze medal while Cortes won a silver medal.

Both dela Merced and Cortes are transferees who spent their junior high school years outside of Ateneo de Manila. Dela Merced came from Saint Paul College of Pasig while Cortes came from a school in Tarlac.
