Medal finishes for 3 ASHS mathletes in MWB Autumn Round

Three ASHS mathletes won medals in Age Group 9 of the Math Without Borders (MWB) Autumn Round Competition. Brian Dela Cruz (11-Nakaura) won gold while Ninna Rivera (11-Perez) won silver. Marion de Leon (11-San Vitores) bagged bronze. The MWB Autumn Round was participated in by 24,000 students from 18 countries and held last October 26, 2019.

Two weeks ago, Dela Cruz, Rivera, and de Leon also won medal awards in the heat round of the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO). As medalists, they are all eligible to represent the Philippines in the TIMO finals to be held in Thailand in April 2020.
