Nathan Batnag bags 2 bronzes for PH in global science tilt

Ateneo de Manila Senior High School student Nathan Batnag (11-Perez) bagged two bronze awards for the Philippines in the Vanda Global Science Finals 2021, which were held virtually on December 4, 2021. The first bronze was for the individual category’s grade 10 division, while the second bronze was for the team category. Nathan shared the team award with seven others, including another Filipino and science enthusiasts from China Taiwan, Ghana, India, Singapore, and Vietnam.

Vanda is an annual international science competition which gathers critical and creative thinkers from grades 3 to 11 to solve questions using higher order thinking skills that follow the Singapore School Science syllabus. Participants in the 2021 Vanda finals came from Bahrain, Cambodia, China Hong Kong, China Taiwan, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
